i did it!

i did it. i poked yuki with the needle and gave her fluids on one side. i am still not comforable with it but i guess that will come with time. i will take her back tomorrow morning for more fluids and i have to stick her on both sides. then i will have to do at home from now on.

the vet gave me a new prescription to give her that is suppose to stimulate her appetite. it took a few hours but i finally got her to eat some feline greenies. i guess she ate 6 or 7. i was breaking them in half so they would be easier for her to chew & swallow so i lost count. of course kimiko had to have her fair share of treats.

i feel alot better about her condition now. the light is starting to shine at the end of the tunnel.

  1. Well done with the poking Yuki with a needle. Our Mom hates needles and would never be able to do it.

  5. Congrats Shirley! I knew you could go it! It's amazing what you can do when it involves your child, human or fuzzy! Trust me, no one knows that better than me! It will take a little to get use to but it will become second nature to both you and Yuki! Great job!
