i spoke w/ the vet about 30 minutes ago. he said her blood work looked good for a 13 year old cat except that her protein levels were very low. he is expecting one more test result back tomorrow and he said it may help with determining why the protein levels are low. he suspected her thyroid was the problem but that came back normal. i am to call him back tomorrow and see what the last test result is and discuss our options. he is now leaning towards the possibility of kidney disease.
