  1. I'll be praying for you all and Rex of course too. If it is time, you know he's lived a good life. You know he won't be hurting, or having any more of his fits, his old legs will be new again... I'm sorry, because I know how hard this is and how much you all love Rexie. I'll add him to the PP&PB list.

  8. we are furry sorry to hear this. it's SO hard to live this part of life! we will purr and purray for you and all the fambly to be given the strength to bear all the sadness you will feel when he leaves for the bridge. and we will purr and purrray joyfully for dear rex, since he will not hurt any longer, and will be enjoying the company of those who have gone before him.

pretty soon, though, your sadness will be replaced by all the good memories of his happy life with you, and he will live on through them!

  21. Sad to hear of the loss of your friend.

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate now knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.
