the best Christmas present ever!

hello everyone! my name is brownie.

i am a woofie that had no real home. i guess you could call me a stray. i have been living in the area where moms works. she and the other ladies at her work have been feeding some of us and trying to make friends with us for many months.

so far they have caught and found homes for the 4 puppies that lucy lou (she is a shameless hussie of a girl) had and brought to them. moms caught the lab mix puppy (he looks almost like the cottonelle puppy) and her boss adopted him. his name is toby and he is growing up fast now that he gets to eat good food.

she has been trying to make friends with me for a couple of months and i started to let her pet me a few weeks ago. but i kept disappearing for a day or two and moms was so worried about me. but this week i came back and when i saw her i started running towards her wagging my tail and smiling. she laughed at me and gave me the best treats. i knew right then that i wanted her to be my new mom. she finally got dad to agree to let her adopt me into their family.

today she caught me (at least she thinks she caught me - we know the truth) and took me to the vet so i could get a bath and vaccinations. i won't lie, i was scared to ride in the big brown machine and go into the vets office. but moms said i would be okay and she would come back to get me later.

this is the best Christmas present any woofie could ever want. i have my own furever home.

p.s. moms said she will get pictures of me posted soon.

  15. Thank you so much for your kind words to comfort us on the loss of our darling Angel. It means so much that you cared and we know that you must still be reeling a bit from the loss of sweet Kimiko. We are still in shock here, so please forgive any rambling.

Welcome to Brownie, who now has a great forever home!

    All the best for 2010
